The theme for the Blog Hop is “Favourite Technique”

I have a new favourite technique - painting with Gelatos, take a look!

This is the first mixed media layout I've completed at home!! I used lots of new to me products too like Glass Bead Glitter Gel, texture paste and Gesso, as well as some familiar techniques like inking with stencils and Distress Inks.  I coloured the Gelatos onto my card stock, misted them with water and blended them with my finger.

Here is a close up of my stencilling, and I've also used Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops to add the circles.

And a close up of my texture paste and embellishments.  My daughter loved my layout, hope you do too!

Happy National Scrapbooking day, and enjoy the blog hop!!
