My third card from March's card class......

I bought this stamp set because I thought I'd better buy a range of stamps, not just stamps that I liked.  I didn't particularly like the set when I bought it, but now, it's one of my most used stamp sets, as it's so versatile!  I'm hoping that it carries over to the new Annual Catalogue, so I can use it at Christmas!

The stamp set is Lovely as a Tree!  I've used one particular stamp off this set a few times, but this was the first time I'd used this tall tree.  This card was one of the favourites from my second card class!  I've used my Perfect Polka Dot Embossing folder for the background, and my top note die to stamp the trees on.  The band is made from Crumb Cake Card Stock, and then stamped using Crumb Cake ink to give a watermark effect.

Again, the leaves that I've stamped on the band have been used on the side bottom corner to add some interest, but leaving me plenty of space to write.

The sentiment is from the Pop Up Daisies Designer Kit in the Spring Summer Catalogue, which I've stamped in Crumb Cake.  The sentiment didn't stand out enough for my liking, so my ladies stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede.
