Photo a Week - Flash

This week's photo a week is Flash!  We've had to use our flash to highlight something in the dark, or in another creative way!  Emily is poorly with a cold, so has had a bed on the floor of my living room this afternoon (even though she could lay on the sofa!), and seemed the perfect subject as my living room started to get dark!

Believe it or not my room was really dark, and I like the effect that the long flash exposure gave me.

Then I decided to hold still and take the photo properly!  My room really was that dark.

Next week the subject is Sport, so I may have to give this a miss.
