Hey there, thanks for stopping by! So now you know the flavour of the baby in my scan photo layout on Friday!
Daisy was due on the 7th April, and we just so happened to be with our family on holiday on the 7th April. I half jokingly said to my big niece, Taniele, that you can have the baby while we're down, so we can have cuddles before we come home. Well, little did I know that Daisy would put in an appearance one day after her due date, so we did indeed, get a cuddle on the Friday morning before heading home. Taniele sent me this photo, and I just had to scrap it!
I love black and white photo's, the colour just lets you get on with scrapping and not have to worry about colours clashing. I choose pink for this layout, one, because Daisy's a girl so pink seems obvious, but also to represent that my nephew, Gareth, now has to get in touch with his feminine side. I can't wait for the day when he's putting in pony tails and having skipping competitions!!
I love how my title frames the picture and really draws your eye to the picture. Of course I had to add hearts and butterflies. Gareth was singing and talking to Daisy, and you can really see her taking it all in.
My little great-niece has stolen my heart, and of course, everyone knows that Aunties can't get into trouble for spoiling them.
