Hey there, nice to see you again! So, now I can show you, in all their glorious detail, the items that I made for my Stampin' Up! Design Team Debut (ohhh get me!).
The first one I'd like to show you is a layout of my Godson, Ryan. I wanted to do something different with this layout, and hadn't had a chance to play with the new fringe scissors yet.
The stamp set I was given to use is called Something for Baby, and has matching Framelits, which are just adorable (Especially the booties!), and this was the theme of my Design Team assignment. This is certainly very appropriate, as I have a few ladies going off on Maternity Leave over the next few months.
I wanted to keep my layout in varying colours of blue, but then I wanted the stamping to really pop out, after all, that was the main feature of my assignment. I used Marina Mist, Tangerine Tango, and Crushed Curry for my stamping (well, ducks wouldn't be ducks if they weren't yellow!).
I made a couple of layers of fringing to go along the bottom of my layout, and then used the stamps, photo and washi tape as the border along the top.
And finally, a close up of those gorgeous booties! I love the stamp set, although baby themed items aren't usually my first choice, and I will definitely be using them again!
