My Family...

My family is the main feature of my scrapbooking, but I normally take photographs of just the kiddies.  When we were in Wales, the boys decided to take the weight off their feet by sitting on a lovely stone wall, while I took Emily into a shop.  When we came out, Emily ran over and leaned against the wall, and of course it made a lovely picture.

The backing card stock and the card stock that the photo is matted on is Christy Tomlinson She Art paper, and is gorgeously vibrant!  The green of the background and the purple of the photo matt picks up the green in the foliage and the purple of James's T shirt.

This layout has been completed using Cocoa Daisy's May Kit, and I loved all the different items that were included that you could use to layer, which I did.  The ribbon is attached using my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.  I also punched out a butterfly using my Martha Stewart Butterfly punch and layered it onto the wooden butterflies that were included in the kit.  Adding gems from Sarah's Cards added abit of sparkle to the layout, which fits with Emily being in the photo beautifully.

This layout came together really quickly, and I've kept it simple by using vibrant coloured card stock and using different elements to layer, which complement each other.
