As you can see I'm behind with scrapping my photo's, as I prefer to scrap my new photo's! I'm making an effort to go back to my older photo's, so I scrapped James when he was 11!
I've been really inspired by Scrap 365, so my paints and spray inks, that rarely see the light of day, made an appearance! I painted Dylusions Vanilla along the bottom of where I wanted the photo to go and red along the side. My blue mica spray ink was then sprayed over the top of the Kraft Cardstock that I'd used.
I layered along the bottom using my open ribbon punch and another ribbon punch on different coloured card stock. I then used my Stampin Up Doily Punch to punch the two red doilies. I finished the doilies off by putting a red brad in the middle of one and using a memories tab from the Lost & Found range to put a brad in the other doily. I liked the feel of the mustard colour wooden button, and it just bought the yellow back into the layering!
I received these chipboard clouds in my Cocoa Daisy February Kit. As the photo of James was taken outside, these finished the top of the layout perfectly. I used some more red doilies and brads to balance the layout out.
Sam, I love this layout of James. The paint and clouds look great.
