My baby was 5 in January, and for the first time ever, we bought her a Party Dress. The photo isn't great because of the light streaming in through my front door, but I scrapped it because I caught Emily's lovely happy go lucky spirit..
Even though it was January, I wanted a sunny feel to this layout! The background patterned paper has purple flowers on it, which bought in the colour of Emily's dress, but then the other colours were fair game!
My Cocoa Daisy January Kit had a felt cupcake in it, which I just had to put onto Emily's layout, and went perfectly with the Sassafras border behind it.
I also used different sticker tags down the side to take your eye from one patterned paper to another! The yellow velvet ribbon was gorgeous and a perfect border for the top of the page. I added some Gems from Sarah's Cards to add a little bit of bling. I also added a Gem to the i of Emily!
