Off to School....

Emily started Primary School in September, so of course I had to scrapbook it!  Emily has always seemed tall for her age, but it's funny how they seem so small once they put their slightly oversize uniform on.

The base card stock, which is Lilybee Design Stationery Oatmeal, was sprayed with Mister Hueys Atmophere Spray Ink to make the card stock look like it had been splashed with ink from a fountain pen.  I've then used Fancy Pants off to School papers, which I've distressed using my Making Memories distress tool, and Fancy Pants embellishment and border stickers on my page.  To make it look like the two pieces of paper are paper clipped together, I've used a Smash paperclip and flag, which just adds a touch of interest.

I've used a Marianne D Chinese Flower die to cut the flowers and leaves which I've used at the bottom left hand side of the papers.  Again, I've used the Fancy Pants paper for the flowers rather than using plain card stock.  The flowers look like they are holding the apple tag in place across the border.
