We received Emily's letter today confirming that she has her place at our local Primary School! We knew she would get in, as we live in the village, however, I didn't want to count my chickens. Craig filled in her place confirmation slip, and Emily handed it in at the School reception on her way through to Pre-School. The lady on the School reception told Emily she was the first person to hand her slip in and said well done! Emily made Craig laugh when they arrived at Pre-School, as Emily proudly announced to her Pre-School teachers that she was going to be the first one to go to big school with a big beaming grin on her face!!
Do our local Primary School know what they've let themselves in for, I ask myself, as Emily is nothing like her laid back brother!!
