I had an all day crop a couple of Saturday's ago, so my Month in Review for May pages were the first I tackled.
One full page of my Month in Review for May. Heights of Abraham had a chair lift that the kiddies could sit in to pretend that they were on the cables cars. A photo opportunity that I couldn't resist!
I used Nellie Sneddon heart dies to cut two hearts, which I then punch holes in and used some Bakers Twine to make into a banner. I love the Prima Marketing sunflowers that came with my May Scrapagogo Kit, and they made perfect anchors for the Bakers Twine.
The buttons will make a bit more sense on this page when you see the other page! I had some more Basic Grey Small Details again, which I love! The Studio Calico duck egg blue banners also compliment my photo's perfectly as well.
Hopefully the buttons now make sense. The Cloud and the tree are Jillibean Soup corrugated shapes. I inked around the cloud with Broken China Distress Ink, and I used an idea that I'd seen on Sarah Youde's Blog (thanks Sarah!) and added buttons to the tree to add some interest and dimension.
One sheet of patterned paper in my kit had birds on one side that were just begging to be cut out, which I did and again, added another button to tie it into the layout,
These are lovely Sam, those papers are gorgeous. Karen
