The layout I'm going to showcase today is a final reminder of summer. Emily doesn't really like ice cream, but whenever we go out to dinner, she insists on ordering ice cream as her pudding.
In this instance, she proved us wrong and ate all the ice cream. We went to Zizzi's, and they had a build your own ice cream desert.
The Photograph isn't great, as the light was behind Emily, so I've used bright colours to give the layout a lift.
I've also used elements around the picture to draw the eye around the photo, and not directly onto the photo. I think this works perfectly, as you do look at the photo, but it's not the main focus of the page, the bright colours and elements are.
Even if your photograph isn't perfect, it's always worth scrapping to capture that memory.
