Just Desserts (The Smoke Shack) Layout….

Hey there, thanks for stopping by!  Wow, we're nearly at the end of August, how did that happen?  The summer will soon be over, and the kiddies will be going back to school!

I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but James has a job at a local restaurant called The Smoke Shack.  The food there is devine, and we've been a few times, but I've not scrapped about it.  Well now I have, part one anyway!  This layout covers the desserts we had, I've got to complete another layout showing the main courses!

The desserts are seriously massive at The Smoke Shack, and I normally share one with Craig.  Ours is the top dessert, which was a Cherry Eton Mess!  I wanted to show the frontage of the restaurant too, as it's based in a lovely Listed Building that used to be a pub.

While I was in the restaurant, I had the brainwave of using a burger paper that The Smoke Shack use on their platters as a paper for my layout.  I used stamps and Black Memento Ink to make it look like I'd stitched it on.

Please remember that if you're using a paper, like the burger paper I've used on my layout, they are not acid or Linglin free, so you need to matt them on card stock that is.

Watch this space for my layout showing the main courses!  They are also devine, and rather large!!

Stampin' Up! Products used:
Black Memento Ink
