2015 Yearbook - May

Hey there, good to see you again!  Hope you had a great weekend!  Today I'm going to show you another instalment of my 2015 Yearbook, May's pages!

My yearbook is a Stampin' Up! 6 x 6 Album that was in the Seasonal Catalogue, which keeps it nice and simple.  Because the pages are so small, there isn't really a lot of embellishment that you can do with them.  May's pages is all about my 2 children that tried to stay serious while I was trying to take a picture, but couldn't when Craig shouted out a funny word!  They just can't keep a straight face.

The picture page is a bit different for May.  I've cut my photo's down and attached them to a piece of clear acetate.  I've then laid another sheet of acetate on top of the pictures and attached them together using washi tape.  Before I sealed the fourth side, I added some silver sequins.   A little bling, but not too much.

My journaling page uses the washi tape that I used on the picture page to keep the consistency across the pages.  I then journaled about the fact that James and Emily were trying to keep a straight face until Craig shouted a funny word at them.  I love these pages, as they capture the fun that we have as a family, as we just can't be serious!

My 2015 Yearbook is shaping up very nicely.  I wonder what June's pages will look like!!
