Hi there, welcome back to my blog! I took August off as holiday, mainly because I was going on my family holiday and wasn't sure I could squeeze in a class, and my regular ladies who attend card class were ready for classes to start up again!
I decided to do a Seasonal September class, which went down extremely well. As always, the cards that have inspired me have been found on Pinterest, thank you to the original pinners, however, I've changed them slightly to suit my style! Here's the first card in our Seasonal September.
When I saw this stamp in the Stampin' Up! Seasonal Catalogue, I wasn't sure about it at all, but as I started to see this stamp being used on Pinterest, I fell in love with it. It is still seasonal, but decided it needed to be a generic card!
Have you noticed my Happy Birthday?! I first inked the label stamp in Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink, then before I stamped it, I rolled the edges of the stamp in Cajun Craze, and this is the result when it's stamped. I really love the mottled look, and it brings the colours of the card together. Remember to always ink your stamps with the light colour first, so that the darker ink doesn't contaminate your light ink pads!
