Hey, good to see you again! Well, here is the second card from my July Card Class. Not really one layer stamping, but it is in the sense that I've stamped the flowers only. The flowers are from the new Flower Shop stamp set, and have a corresponding Pansy Punch. That's what I like about Stampin' Up!, they make everything so easy!
This card is CASED from Pinterest, and is so simple, but so effective. This is definitely a card I'm going to make again using different washi tape and stamps! Have you seen the Stampin' Up! Washi Tape? It is lovely and so easy to work with (said like the true Washi Tape junkie I am!).
Washi Tape has a tendency to lift because it's like masking tape. To stop the edges lifting, the design has been put onto a piece of Whisper White card stock, then attached to the card, rather than going straight onto the card. This way, when you put your Washi Tape onto the card, you can leave the top edge longer than the card and fold it over. When your Card stock is then attached to your card blank, it secures the Washi Tape and stops it lifting and gives the tape a neat finish.
Stampin' Up! Products used:
Whisper White A4 Card stock
Gingham Garden Washi Tape
Flower Shop Stamps
Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, and Night of Navy Ink
Pansy Punch
Bring on the Cake Stamp set
Basic Rhinestone Jewels

Lovely card - pretty colours and the pansy flower punch is fab. A good way to use washi tape too. Elizabeth xx
