My second card from June's class....

Well here's the second card from June's Card Class!  I decided to do two technique cards, and this was the first of them.  See what you think....

I love this card, which used the retired Pretty In Pink ink and Card stock, and The Best of Flowers Stamp set!  On this card, we used the Aqua Painters to paint the flower, which none of my ladies had done before.  Remember when you're using Aqua Painters, you need to use a non water based ink such as Stazon or Memento inks to stamp the outline image.  That way when you paint your stamping, it doesn't go into a watery mess!

If you have a Stampin' Up! Ink Pad, you will hopefully know that these can be used as paint pallets by pressing the top of the ink casing onto the pad.  You can then use this as the pallet with your Aqua Painters (mmmm a technique blog post needed I think!).

My ladies had great fun painting this card once they had got to grips with not putting too much water on their Aqua Painter nib!
