I think I've mentioned, probably several times, that we became Godparents to little Ryan at the beginning of February. The ceremony was lovely and it feels like we've gained another child, albeit one that we can give back! I didn't take very many photo's, but was in the perfect place to take this one.
Because the photo is very neutral, I didn't really have to try to match my paper and embellishment colours to the photo, which was very refreshing! It reminded me that I haven't scrapped any black and white photo's for a while! The base card stock is lovely, and has been embossed with an all over pattern.
I wanted a love theme for this layout to portray how much Ryan means to us as a godson, and my Artisan Embellishments pack came in very handy!! If you look behind the tickets, you can see that I've used the heart doily out of the Embellishments pack, and I've used a lovely resin heart button at the end of the fussy cut lace strips at the bottom of the photo.
The Artisan Embellishment Kit is £8.95 and is very versatile. I love it, as it just shouts Scrapbooking, but can also be used on cards.
