Craig and I celebrated our 19th Wedding Anniversary last week (I know, where has the time gone?), and of course, I had to make him an Anniversary Card.
The Friday before, I'd attended a Stampin Up Party, and Anja, the Demonstrator did a lovely, but very simple card, so I thought I would give it a go!
First of all, I LOVE these stamps!! They are my brand new Up, Up and Away Stamps from Stampin Up, aren't they lush?! I used a piece of blue card stock from my stash as the background. I then used Stampin Up Classic Ink Pads in Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive for the balloons, and my Memento Ink Pad in Black. Why is my card propped up with a piece of card stock stamped with birds?
This is why! Very cleverly, the front on the card is scored so that it bends, and it can stand up!
I love this style of card, so I think you may see it on my blog more often!
Thanks for stopping by!

Nice to see that you used Anja card technique again - lovely card - hope you had a lovely anniversary x
ReplyDeleteVery clever! Those stamps are bound to get multiple uses!!! Xxx
