Card-tastic at the moment!

This week sees me making loads of cards!  Not only do I have teachers cards to make, but Emily has had a rush of birthday invites!  Here is a card that I've made for my friends little girl, whose birthday it was on Wednesday.

I love this stamp, and I've hand coloured it using my promarkers!  I love the vibrant colour of the toadstool and the hair against the pale blue of the dress.  I've applied a layer of Rock Candy stickles to the edge of the wings, and it's naturally turned the card stock a light pink.  The patterned papers are just some I had in my stash from previous kits.

I love stamping cards and colouring them in.  If you would like to watch some promarker tutorials, Kirsty Wiseman has some excellent ones on her blog.  Click on the link to Kirsty's blog on the left!

This is another card I've made for a couple of 5th and 6th Birthday Parties that Emily is attending.  Making multiples of the same card is a must, especially with a simple design such as this.  The stamps I've used are Banana Frog Princess Stamps.  I've stamped the castle onto the white card stock and coloured them in using Promarkers.  I've stamped the princess and coloured her in, but I've then cut her out and layered her onto the card using foam pads.  The sentiment is one out of the princess stamp set.  Even though this card is really simple, I do love how it's turned out, and I'll be making this one again.

Thanks for stopping by!
