Card Class Number 2

The beginning of July saw me attending Lynne's Stampin Up Card class.  I'm trying to get back into card making again, but properly!  Here are the amazing cards that Lynne had in store for us.

The first card we made was this very simple, but gorgeous card!  All we used was different coloured Stampin Up Card stock to make the strips, and Boho Blossom Punch to make the flowers.

The flags at the end of the sentiment was made using a heart punch, which is great, as it gives the tail a curve rather than a flat edge!

The next Card was made using Stampin Up, Up, Up and Away stamps, stamps I've recently purchased.

This card is a similar style to my balloon Anniversary Card, but rather than being propped up diagonally, this one is propped up straight.  I love the ruffled Stampin Up Ribbon.  I think I'm going to have to purchase some of that!

This shows you how the card looks when it's propped up.  I love the colours of this card.  They are muted, but can be used for boys or girls.  I'm not going to say who I've used this card for.

The final card is equally as nice, and we used a Stampin Up Stamp-a-ma-jig, which made centering stamps inside the circle stamps very easy.  Here have a look and see what I mean....

Again, everything we've used is Stampin Up and the stamp set we've used is called Circle Circus.  It also looks like this card has been sprayed using spray inks.  Well it hasn't.  Stampin Up do a nifty tool called a Colour Spritzer tool that  you use with the Stampin Up Markers.  It was easy to make a sprayed effect, and much cleaner too!

As always, I loved the class!  Unfortunately I can't make August's class, but I'll show you what cards I make in September!

If you would like to join Lynne's classes,  please click on the link at the top of this post.  It will take you through to Lynne's blog!

Thanks for stopping by, and look out for more cards during the week!

  2. All three are lovely cards ... my favourite is the pink one, it reminds me of those paint samples you get in the DIY store :) That's a great tip for using a heart punch. Elizabeth x
