My Sunshine Girl....

Emily really is my Sunshine Girl in many a way!  She's nearly always happy, and she loves the beaches when we go to Cornwall, which is where this photo was taken.

When I opened my Cocoa Daisy May kit, I fell in love with this very bright pink paper from Amy Tangerine's Sketchbook Collection - Harpers Hue, and knew it would go with this photograph!

I didn't want to complete one of my usual layouts that had blocks of patterned paper, so when I saw Amy Tangerines Sketchbook Paiges Portraits paper in my kit, I knew exactly what I was going to do - cut out all the frames!!

I've rose some of the frames up from the layout on foam pads to give it a bit of dimension, and used Prima Marketing Chipboard pieces to add interest.   Of course I had to punch a Martha Stewart Butterfly and add it to my layout along with Gems from Sarah's Cards.  The lettering is American Crafts thickers, which I love.  The grungy butterfly stamp was part of my Cocoa Daisy kit, and I stamped it using a Prima Marketing Chalk Ink in Soot Black.

The two butterflies, along with the wording, make up the triangle that you should try to capture in all your layouts to make it easy on the eye!

This layout took me out of my comfort zone, but I love all the frames and the knick knacks on the layout.  It fits Emily perfectly!

Thanks for stopping by!
