My first Stampin Up Card Class.....

My local Stampin Up Demonstrator and friend, Lynne Fahey, holds monthly card classes, and I was lucky enough to attend my first class a couple of weeks ago.  I was worried about not being able to keep up, and what if I stamped something and it didn't come out?!  I didn't have to worry, look....

We made three beautiful cards, all of which I needed to make, so I was extremely happy!  This card looks gorgeous, but was so simple to make!

The Framelet cut outs and the flowers were raised up using Stampin Up Dimensionals (foam pads to me and you), and the effect is lovely.  The flowers were coloured using inks and a water pen.  I love this technique and will be using this on future cards and layouts.

In the Stampin Up catalogue, I didn't really like the stamp used on this Birthday card, but my opinion was soon changed when I stamped with it.  We stamped the Cupcake using Cherry Cobbler ink pad, and although you can't really see it on the photo, we used a Cupcake Roller Stamp on the Cherry Cobbler card.

This isn't the sort of card I would usually make, but again, I fell in love with the stamps and punches when we used them.  The scroll stamp is called Elizabeth, and we had a choice of sentiments to use.

I loved making these cards, and I've booked to go to Lynne's Card Class in July, so watch this space!

Thanks for stopping by!
