Making my own embellishments......

I've used my Stampin Up Pennant Punch to make the banner on the top left hand corner of my layout.  I love this punch, as it punches out both the scallop and straight edged pennants at the same time.  I also used my Martha Stewart Doily Punch to make the border.

Once I'd punched out the Pennant, it needed something more, so of course, it had to be my Martha Stewart Butterfly punch and gems from Sarah's Cards Ltd!

This is a very simple layout, but one I've grown to like (some of my layouts I don't like them straight away, they grow on me!).  I've mostly layered papers and punched my embellishments using punches, an effect which I quite like.
