Month in Review - October 2011

I can't believe that we are coming towards the end of the year!!  I've thoroughly enjoyed my Month in Review with the Scrapagogo girls so far, so much so, that I've already bought my 8 x 8 American Crafts Album ready for next year!!!!

October saw us having a lazy half term week, going to Longleat to experience their Halloween Fest and to see their amazing firework display, and us having our own Halloween at home!  We gave away 52 cup cakes in about 20 minutes and 2.5kgs of Sweets!

Longleat had a pumpkin hunt!  We had to find 10 pumpkins with pictures on them in order to claim a bag of Cadbury Halloween Eggs.  We also enjoyed hot fresh doughnuts at the end of the day!

October's Scrapagogo kit had some Studio Calico Fabrip in it, which I love!  The fabric is easy to rip off the backing sheet, and you can do what you want with it!  I pleated mine to make the flowers on my pages, but you can scrunch it, stamp on it, punch it, make flowers and so much more.

I had my photo's printed at Costco this time and they included an index card, which I used on my Month in Review Page to add some interest.  I attached them to my pages using foam pads to give a bit of dimension.

This year, Emily wanted to dress up, although she left her hat at dancing!  Craig and the kiddies also decorated the front of our house.  I included another Fabrip flower with a green centre to balance up my pages.

I used the fabric tags down the centre of my second page to add some interest.  I used a black Memento Ink Pad to stamp the boo.  It's the first time I've stamped on fabric, and I'm really pleased with the results.  I hope you all had a Happy Halloween.
