I don't know if all Scrappers do this, but I'm meticulous about keeping a list of pages that I need to scrap, so that I keep them in the right order and if I do go out of sequence, I know how to load my pages into my album. I went to my monthly crop last week, and I had about 7 3" x 2" pictures of my GoGo Retreat last October that just didn't look right when I tried to put them on a Layout.
Louise suggested that I made a tag book, so here is the book I made. I've used Tim Holtz Distress inks that have been wiped onto a piece of tin foil, sprayed with water, then the tags dragged through the inks to get a two tone effect. This was my first attempt at using Tim Holt's inks and I was quite pleased with the result. I've not uploaded all of the pages of my book, but I tried to use elements of the real 12 x 12 layouts in my Tag Minibook.
My front cover
The only photo I got of the class teachers! This book was giving Jane particular problems, not that you could tell once it was finished. It was good to see that even the pro's have "off" days!
We all had to make name badges in our team colours. This was Emerald Team's badges
SJ Dowett's class was alot of fun, as we played with Dots and Paint!! I loved the flowers too and rather than do all pink and green flowers, I made kraft ones that was picked up by other members of the classes
Lisa Bond's Metallica class had to be one of my favourites! I absolutely loved the metallic papers, embellishments and Glimmermist, that also happened to be in an autumnal copper, which complimented the scene in my picture (the boathouse at Warwick Castle)
Love the tag book and its a great idea - proud of you for getting the retreat scrapped - I haven't even sorted out the photos yet! x
