Hey there, thanks for stopping by! You know from previous posts that I'm part of a card challenge group. February's challenge was to make a card using the cracked glass technique.
This technique is where you stamp an image, cover the image with versamark ink, cover the ink with clear embossing powder, heat, let it call down, then repeat several times. I used a Stampin' Up! Embossing powder, which I think was just a bit too refined, as I couldn't get the embossing to snap, even when I left my first card in the freezer for 24 hours (good job Emily reminded me it was in there!). Have a look at my first attempt. This was CASED from my friend, Cat Burchmore.
The three yellow flowers are the flowers that should have the cracked glass effect, but sadly they don't. I still love this card though and will make a lovely thank you card.
