Stick it Down Design Team Layout for June

Hey there, good to see you again!  I'm back today with another layout for Stick it Down.  As always, we were given a sketch to work with.

And this is my interpretation of it!  I cut out the scalloped frames on my Silhouette, which turned out great!  I wasn't a fan on using mixed media though, so I used the circles that came out of the middle of my scalloped frames.  I also decided to use more than one photo.

You can take part in the challenge over on the Stick it Down Blog.  I look forward to seeing how you interpret the sketch!

Stick It Down May Design Team Layout

Hey there, good to see you again!  It's time again for the Stick it down Challenge for May!  This is the sketch we were given to work with this month.

And this was my interpretation of the sketch.

I've used the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Midnight collection, which I love, and went perfectly with the colour of Elise's jumper.

Please head over to the Stick it Down Blog to enter the challenge!  Thanks for taking part!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio Happiness Layout

Hey there, thanks for stopping by! I’m back on Lottie Loves Paper today with a layout using the new Happiness Collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

I’m normally a 12 x 12 girl, but I’ve done something abit different.

I bought an 8 x 8 Shadow Box Frame for my living room, so I can display my layouts for a while before I change it.  I’ve also got 2 12 x 12 frames.

I’ve done some sewing on this layout and used the butterfly stickers on the sticker sheet.  To make the butterflies 3D, I’ve popped tiny foam pads under the wings.

I’ve done more stitching, and the background behind the photos is strips of scraps! Yay scrap busting!!

The kite is from Bramble Fox.

Pop along to Lottie Loves Paper to have a browse at the Happiness Collection

And this is my take on the sketch.

I used Cocoa Vanilla Studio Midnight Collection, my Amy Tangerine Watercolours and my Vicki Boutin stamps to add to the background.

Vicki Boutin’s Kaleidoscope Layout

Hey there, good to see you again.  Thank goodness it’s Friday right?!

The last couple of weeks have been tough.  We had to have our fur baby, Herbie, put to sleep, then on Monday we said goodbye to my Brother in Law, who had gained his angel wings on 18th February.

I cheered myself up by creating this DT layout for Lottie Loves Paper using Vicki’s new Kaleidoscope Collection.

This photo was taken at The Minack Theatre in Cornwall, so I wanted lovely bright colours to carry on the sunny/tropical theme.

I added some of the bright flower stickers on foam pads, and I fussy cut hearts and scallops.

The kit contained lovely puffy stickers and holographic chipboard stickers that I just had to use.

Head over to Lottie Loves Paper to have a browse, and to buy the Kaleidoscope s Collection.

March Design Team Layout for Stick it Down!

Hey there, thanks for stopping by!  Good to see you!  I'm up today on the Stick it Down blog with another Single Page Layout!

This is the sketch for this month's layout.

And this is my interpretation.  I don't work really with diagonals, so this did take me out of my comfort zone.  I don't normally scrap with more than one photo, and if I do, it's two max.

These photo's were taken on the 1st February, when we had a lot of snow, and I was on my way to Swindon for a weekend crop.  Everywhere looked beautiful, and the snow was definitely worse in Swindon than it was at home.

Head over to the Stick It Down blog to view more of my fellow Designers layouts!

Lottie Loves Paper Spring Vibes Kit

Hey there, good to see you again!

I was asked by Sarah to play with the new Spring Vibes Kit subscription, and I have to say it’s gorgeous and very versatile.

I have a couple more of Emilys Prom photos to scrap, so used this kit for one of them.

I’m loving the colours and patterns in this kit, and it fit this photo perfectly!

I’ve used the 6 x 6 Bohemian Dreams paper pack by Pretty Little Studio to make the Border going down the side of the photo.

The puffy words are also gorgeous. So gorgeous in fact that I don’t want to use them!

I’ve also used another page from the Pretty Little Studio paper pack to fussy cut out these Mendalas, which I’ve added a Pearl too.  They’ve made lovely Embellishments.

Head over to Lottie Loves Paper if you’d like to purchase some goodies!

New Layout for Lottie Loves Paper using Vicki Boutin's new Collection

Hey there, happy Friday!!!  Hope you've had a good week.

I'm back on Lottie Loves Paper today as an official Design Team Member with a layout using Vicki Boutin's new collection - Kaleidoscope.  This collection is a gorgeous with lovely, bright colours.  Again, the collection reminds me of mixed media!

James and Elise went to Maastricht earlier on in the month, and they visited this Macaroon shop and took pictures.  I'm getting James trained, as he said that he thought the Macaroons would make a good scrapbooking photo.  That's my boy!!

This collection really is lovely, and can be found over in the Lottie Loves Paper shop.  Remember to visit the Lottie Loves Paper Facebook page to see more lovely designs

Final Guest Design Team Layout

Morning everyone!  I’m back with Lottie Loves Paper with my final Guest Design Team Layout using the Today’s Adventure kit.

The fantastic news is that on Friday, Sarah Jayne asked me to be on the design team on a more permanent basis!  I was so thrilled to be asked, and I’m really excited to join the team!

Here is today’s layout

I had a few of the scallops that if fussy cut left, so I decided to use them as bunting on this page.  I’ve also used the Enamel Dots as Photo Corners.

When I looked at the bunting, I thought it was missing something, so decided to add my final tassel.  I’ve loved these tassels, and have managed to use all of them.

The title I used on this layout is a Perspextive from Bramble Fox, but it fit my layout perfectly.  I’ve layered up more of the 6x6 pad, which makes the title pop!

Lottie Loves Paper has some great new collections!  Head over to www.lottielovespaper.co.uk to have a look!

Stick it Down Design Team Layout for February

Hey there, good to see you again!  There is definitely a bit of romance in the air for the February Stick it Down sketch.  Well, we are into February and only a few days away from Valentine's Day!  Here is the sketch.

Lots of hearts on this layout, so I decided to use a cut file from Silhouette, and the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Midnight Collection.  Here is my layout.

I love how this layout turned out!  This collection is quite subtle, so is the perfect match to my photo of  Emily.  Valentines Day is all about hearts and flowers, which was the inspiration for this layout.

Hope you have a great Valentine's Day!

Lottie Loves Paper - Remember this Moment Layout

Hi, thanks for stopping by!  It's great to see you again!  I'm showing another layout I've completed for Lottie Loves Paper.  I'm really enjoying my Guest Design Team slot, and I'm particularly loving the Today's Adventure kit.

Emily had a Henna Tattoo done when we went to Cornwall, and I hadn't scrapped it yet.  I decided to use a black piece of card stock for this layout to make all of the colours on the paper pop.  The Remember Perspective is from my own stash.

I've used more of the Heidi Swapp journalling cards on the layout to add a bit of dimension.  I've used an extra long journalling card to go completely under the photo, and added the date to the bottom.  I'm also loving the puffy stickers in the kit.  These are again from Heidi Swapp and can also be used in planners.

I love this Make today Count card, another one of Heidi Swapp's cards.  Sometimes a layout doesn't need much journalling adding, so these stickers were perfect for what I wanted to say.

My layouts using Today's Adventure kit are really coming together easily, and I'm loving using it.

Head over to Lottie Loves Paper to see all the lovely stash on offer.  I dare you to resist.

Happy Friyay!!  I’m back with Lottie Loves Paper today with another Guest Design Team Layout using Today’s Adventure kit.

I’ve used another fussy cut scallop circle, puffy stickers and words cut from the 6 x 6 pad

I am truly loving this kit!  I’m back with 2 more layouts next week before I hand over to the next Guest Designer.

Have a great weekend!  Happy scrapping!

Lottie Loves Paper Layout - Love Love Love

Hey, thanks for stopping by!  Good to see you again!  Today, I'm showing another Layout that I've completed for Lottie Loves Paper.  I only have another 10 days as Guest Designer, so I'm trying to complete as may layouts as I can!

This is today's layout.

The heart die cut is from Silhouette, but everything else is from my Today's Adventure Kit.

In my kit was this lovely wooden Love cut out.  I wanted to use this as my title, so I inked the wood using a Memento Dew Drop Ink in Love Letter then when it was dry, I used Glossy Accents to make it shine.  The Glossy Accents also made the ink colour darker, which I love.

I've used quite a few of the Heidi Swapp Journalling cards on this layout.  They are lovely, and look great layered up.  The colours really pop and add the detail to the layout.

Head over to Lottie Loves Paper to see all the lovely stash!  I bet you won't be able to resist.

Guest DT Layout for Lottie Loves Paper - Go Explore

Hey there, good to see you again!  Hope the snow has kept away from wherever you are!  Today I'm showing another layout that I've completed for Lottie Loves Paper as Guest DT.

The Today's Adventure kit has had to have been one of my favourites, as it's so versatile.  I've completed different styles of layouts using this one kit.

This is today's layout.

The perspectives and doilies are from my own stash, but everything else is from the Today's Adventure Kit.  I'm totally in love with the tassel's, and they add some texture to the layout.

The colours of the tassel's are gorgeous, very vibrant.  They've also been easy to attach to layouts.  I may have to keep one for my planner though.

The kit also contained Heidi Swapp Journalling spots and tags, which have been really easy to layer up.  You will see this better on another layout I've completed. I've layered these on foam dots to give more more dimension to my layout.

Head over to Lottie Loves Paper to see all of Sarah Jayne's lovely goodies.

Another Layout for Lottie Loves Paper

Hello everyone!  Happy Monday!!  Today I'm showcasing another layout completed for my Guest Designer slot for Lottie Loves Papers.

This layout was inspired by a fellow DT Member, Di Wilcox.  Di used her Alphabet Punch Board on a layout, and I remembered that I had one that I had never used.  Di inspired me to use it, and I loved it.

I've used a 12 Cut File from Silhouette to go with my Alphabet Punch Board, and of course that papers are from my Today's Adventure kit.  Turning 12 is an adventure right??

You can see the letters better here, and the papers.  I've also used the Shimelle Stamps that are included in the kit for the butterfly.  These stamps are gorgeous.  The other stamps used are from my own stash.(

The Dear Lizzy New Day 6 x 6 pad is gorgeous too (all of the kit is gorgeous to be fair!), and filled in my Die Cut 12 perfectly.  It was also the perfect size to punch my letters out of.  My alphabet punch board was a big hit with me, and I will definitely use it again!

Lottie Loves Paper Guest Design Team Layout

Hey there! Good to see you again. Today I’m showcasing my third Guest Design Team Layout for Lottie Loves Paper.

This Layout was inspired by the kits name, Today’s Adventure.

I fussy cut out the scallops from a sheet of patterned paper, and used them as a rainbow.

The alphas are from my own stash, but they compliment the kit perfectly.

This kit contained a stamp set by Shimelle, so I used the camera and the clouds.

This kit was perfect to document my adventure as a Guest Designer for Lottie Loves Paper.

Head over to www.lottielovespaper.co.uk to see all the lovely stash!

Second Lottie Loves Paper Guest Design Team Layout

Happy Friyay everyone!!  I’m sooo glad we are on the last working day of the week, and what better way to end it than having another Lottie Loves Paper Guest Design Team Layout up on all the various sites.

The Heidi Swapp Journalling Pieces are lovely, and inspired this layout.  I never call goals goals, as if I don’t achieve them, I feel disappointed.  If I call them intentions, then the pressure to do them is abit less.  It’s cheating I know, but there are no rules, right?

The numbers from Heidi Swapp are also a favourite and matched my title from Bramble Fox perfectly.

I even tried to match my pen colour to the Journalling Pieces to give the layout some continuity.  The this is it Card seemed appropriate for my last intention!

My first Guest DT Layout for Lottie Loves Paper

Hey there, good to see you. I hope your January is going well!

I’m on the Lottie Loves Paper sires today with my first Guest Design Team Layout.  Sarah Jayne puts together gorgeous kits, and this kit, Todays Adventure, is no exception.  It’s beautiful.

I wanted to use this picture of Emily in yellow agains the yellow wall, and the black striped paper was the perfect way to make the photo pop.

I am in love with these planner tassels from American Crafts Sear Lizzy Collection.  One of these may make its way into my planner.

The yellow Alphas were from my own stash, but they compliment the layout and photo perfectly.  The Enamel Dots also add abotnof detail.

I’m back again with another Gueat DT Layout on Friday, so watch this space.

In the meantime, head over to Sarah’s shop  - www.lottielovespaper.co.uk
