Stick it Down Design Team Layout for June

Hey there, good to see you again!  I'm back today with another layout for Stick it Down.  As always, we were given a sketch to work with.

And this is my interpretation of it!  I cut out the scalloped frames on my Silhouette, which turned out great!  I wasn't a fan on using mixed media though, so I used the circles that came out of the middle of my scalloped frames.  I also decided to use more than one photo.

You can take part in the challenge over on the Stick it Down Blog.  I look forward to seeing how you interpret the sketch!

Stick It Down May Design Team Layout

Hey there, good to see you again!  It's time again for the Stick it down Challenge for May!  This is the sketch we were given to work with this month.

And this was my interpretation of the sketch.

I've used the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Midnight collection, which I love, and went perfectly with the colour of Elise's jumper.

Please head over to the Stick it Down Blog to enter the challenge!  Thanks for taking part!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio Happiness Layout

Hey there, thanks for stopping by! I’m back on Lottie Loves Paper today with a layout using the new Happiness Collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

I’m normally a 12 x 12 girl, but I’ve done something abit different.

I bought an 8 x 8 Shadow Box Frame for my living room, so I can display my layouts for a while before I change it.  I’ve also got 2 12 x 12 frames.

I’ve done some sewing on this layout and used the butterfly stickers on the sticker sheet.  To make the butterflies 3D, I’ve popped tiny foam pads under the wings.

I’ve done more stitching, and the background behind the photos is strips of scraps! Yay scrap busting!!

The kite is from Bramble Fox.

Pop along to Lottie Loves Paper to have a browse at the Happiness Collection

And this is my take on the sketch.

Vicki Boutin’s Kaleidoscope Layout

Hey there, good to see you again.  Thank goodness it’s Friday right?!

The last couple of weeks have been tough.  We had to have our fur baby, Herbie, put to sleep, then on Monday we said goodbye to my Brother in Law, who had gained his angel wings on 18th February.

I cheered myself up by creating this DT layout for Lottie Loves Paper using Vicki’s new Kaleidoscope Collection.

This photo was taken at The Minack Theatre in Cornwall, so I wanted lovely bright colours to carry on the sunny/tropical theme.

I added some of the bright flower stickers on foam pads, and I fussy cut hearts and scallops.

The kit contained lovely puffy stickers and holographic chipboard stickers that I just had to use.

Head over to Lottie Loves Paper to have a browse, and to buy the Kaleidoscope s Collection.
